纽约地铁分几种？
New York City has four subway systems： the IRT， BMT， IND and Cortlandt Street station. The first three are controlled by MTA Capital Construction (MCI)， a subsidiary of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority that is responsible for maintaining tracks， signals etc. while the fourth line operates as an independent system with its own fare cards and tickets called “Omnibus” because it’s not part of any other network.
The IRT was constructed under the direction of Robert Moses who was Parks Commissioner then later Chair of the Board that oversaw the building of bridges & tunnels in New York along with most of it's parkways which were paid off over several decades making them free from traffic and much admired for their design around natural topography of this very hilly city. It has been said that his greatest achievement may have been saving Central Park when it looked like it would be lost to make way for more skyscrapers during the 1920s depression but also his worst mistake being how much these buildings influenced what we now call Manhattan and turned it into a giant playground for cars rather than pedestrian.
As far as the different lines go... each one connects to different boroughs or neighborhoods across all five districts though some lines run only between two stations without going anywhere else (and so don't actually help you get out of the city！) For instance， if you want to get from Brooklyn back to Midtown Manhattan where many office towers and stores can be found walking is usually best since there aren't many subway connections crossing under the East River here unless you want to pay $5+ for an "express" bus（which takes about half hour longer）than waiting hours on end along with countless other people at Queensbridge/Lincoln Center Station trying solve this problem by crossing 8 lanes of traffic over Midtown East.
You could take a ferry to see Times Square 但是它太贵了(20美元起跳)而且只能到前面两个站然后必须走回原点才能继续坐回原地等下一趟哦；或坐公交(M34/M15 etc)去布鲁克林但这些地方一般都很遥远且拥挤没有座位不说关键还慢如龟速（5刀以上费用）并且途中会经过很多危险路段建议最好不要独自一个人晚上出去游玩或者走路回家尤其女生更要慎重三思后行啦~ 最后推荐一个App叫“Subway Times”可以搜任意两个地铁站间最快捷方便的
